We are interested in hearing your story! We need to make it clear how important the university is to the welfare of the people of Wisconsin. Are you in a department that directly benefits the community? As a student, did you take part in an outreach project that benefited the community? Share your story! We want to show how crucial the university is to the state of Wisconsin and that its scholars actively follow the Wisconsin Idea, working to improve the lives of the people of Wisconsin.
But when it lacks funding, the university suffers and in turn, the people of Wisconsin also suffer. We want to hear any stories you about the negative impacts of the current lack of fuding for the university. Are you suffering under the load of high tuition? Have you or your department as a whole been affected by the new tuition remission surcharge? We want to hear about it! We want to know about the negative impacts of the new graduate assistant fee or other issues caused by lack of funding.
